Had a some fun out in California on the 7th and 8th. Got to see the American Iron guys go at it. Had fun learning the track and stretching the legs of my cobra.
Very fun track. Fast and flowing. Double and late Apex's. It is between Blyth and Indio off the I-10 in California.
I looked into going out there a few years back with NASA AZ. But haven't seen it on the schedule recently. We get a few AZ racers/TT at PMI every year in Pueblo, CO. Would be cool to meet you if you make it up this way.
Next year I should have version 2.0 running and we should have our two cars trailer up and running, so we may venture out more. It is way easier to share the fuel bill getting to and from. Luckily my coworker runs in TT and is always up to go to every event.
I don't care what anyone says, I love seeing mustangs at actual tracks. This is awesome man looks like it was tons of fun
True. But you really want to get some panties in a twist? Get on the bumper of a E36 BMW, 911, or Vette and make the pass. Those guys don't like to believe they can be passed by such lesser cars.
Oh so true. It is the best part of track driving. Then they ask what is done to the motor, even more depressed when they find out intake and under drive pullies. I'm all about the corner entry and exit speed.
That grey Fox #54 driven by Ryan Walton is a very fast car/driver combination. I'm not sure still, but Walton may have track records in his class at most SoCal tracks still.
