NEED HELP ON A 5.0

Ok guys the last few peps ive had to deal with for a purchase of a mustang are dicking me around.. So i found a sweet deal on a very clean 88gt with a 306 in it with full exhaust and intake but it has stock heads...mmmm. Well i want a 94-95 gt reel bad and want to save some money so im looking at gt40 heads.. This car i will be selling after this summer when i have saved up enough for a cobra. So i need some help on what to pick im looking no more then 700 for it all, used new or bare and i can pick what i want.. I was looking and found the ones from the exploder but hear that you might need a new intake..Alread have one so dont want to modify anymore then the heads... Ive seen the gt40p and x's for a desent price but dont have to much knowledge on heads yet to pick out the good ones..

you dont need a different intake for gt40 heads, explorer, mustang, or aftermarket, you can use any 5.0 intake manifold.
as far as gt40 heads go, they run around 500pr for factory iron pieces around here, but you can always find better deals
on ebay... etc.

You can find iron gt40 heads at a junkyard... some explorers had them stock...

expensive to ship with ebay. look on craigslist, i'm sure you can find some

Ok called them said it was 50 for the shipping need to get gaskets and bolts. Im thinking then a b303 cam and i should be good for that set up.. I asked where they get their castings from and its in austrailia. They do all there machine work in house. they are a gt40x head and for the price look like a mint deal.. Will be putting a full mac with prochamber exhaust on and ditching the shorties and the muffeld flowmasters..
