Ok so here is what is going on.. I have a 95 vert with trickflow H/C/I and Vortech Blower .. I just finished doing head gaskets on my car and everything was great car ran great for 2 weeks then I noticed some oil on the water pump so went ahead and pulled the lower intake and installed some 1262 Felbro gaskets.. I then also swapped over to some ford 42lb green top injectors and removed my old 50lb MSD injectors( Also swapped tune and mass air ) .. So after swapping everything my car was having a weird problem with going rich out of the blue. So say Im driving down the street and my air fuel is 13/14air/fuel and then all the sudden the car will go 10 air/fuel and bog and I will let off the gas and the car will go back to normal .. Also sometimes when I go to put a load on the car like when Im pulling the clutch out the car will go stupid rich 10.0 air.fuel and then when I start driving it will go normal for a while then all the sudden it will go stupid rich ..

So after thinking it was my injectors I went ahead and swapped back to my oil injectors and maf and tune and still does it .. So then I replaced all my gaskets for the T body , Elbow and EGR and it still does it .. Also the car only has 10inch pounds of vacuum and used to have 20 at idle and when the car does it I loose vacuum like crazy so I was thinking its my lower intake gaskets but could that happen with a lower intake gasket?? When the car runs normal its perfect like stock.. Also I pry its not a headgasket but could a blown head gasket do that even though the car runs amazing ?? Im a little lost any input would be great thanks guys sorry for the crazy long post ..

P.S Its not the tune no matter if I remove a shit load of fuel through my Maf curve it still does it so I was thinking lower intake leak or upper intake leak but if I was a lower or upper leak I would think it would do it all the time not?

Also Hooked up Snap on Solas Pro and got TPS out of range and it was 1.3 volts so all fix that tomorrow but car idles perfect so thats not it .. Other then that no codes

have you checked your engine/chassis ground? sounds like what i was experiencing a while back which i thought was the o2s cause no matter what i changed in the tune it didn't matter. the o2s were reading off so i switched them out and still no fix. did a general inspection of everything and found my chassis ground location had quite a bit of corrosion on it. sanded that up and it drove perfect.

Good thinking bro I just remembered when I pulled the heads I broke the ground wire ...All try to fix it all let you guys know . I just cant see a ground wire keep my motor from seeing 20inch pounds at idle ??

yeah that shouldn't effect the vacuum but then at the same time, without a ground, it can throw a lot of things off. one thing at a time though. fix that ground and go from there.

it sounds like a vaccum leak also check you hoses under the intake they might have slipped off or something and it may be pinched somewhere on the intakes the computer may be compensating for the lack of vaccum but reaches it limit causing the randomness

Glad it's all fixed up. Love threads with actual results and not just a dead end so that others who have similar problems get lost as well.

I would also checp the FPR, it your diaphram is leaking, you could be sucking fuel into the vac system, and then when you're under pressure, forcing it to other paces. See if the FPR vac line smalls like fuel.

I agree 100% .. Its hard to find people that have done a lot to there cars and have dyno tuning experience and more.. Its funny after owning 8 foxbody mustangs and 1 sn95 I learn something new about this turd everyday lol .. I went a drove a 03 cobra the other day and loved it besides it was a bitch to shift .. I love my T5 compared to that T56 ... No wonder why guys cant shift there 03/04 cobras .. Other then that I loved the car .. I decided to keep my car and install a aftermarket cowl hood new carpet it and some other new shit...
