need help

I have a 95 gt that was my DD I now have a 03 ranger for a DD. The gt has 373 gears the rest is all stock. It has 195,000 miles and only been into one time for a timing chain at 175,000. The car is in real good cond. the help i need is this. Do I start doing mods on the car now that I have the truck and don't have to use it as my DD, or do I sell it and up grade to something newer or with less miles? By the way both are payed for!

If they are both paid for I'd keep it and mod it. It's hard to pay for mods when you gotta make a car payment. That is pretty much what I am doing. I got an '03 Focus ZX3 as a DD and the '94 GT is just to mess with. I am almost done paying off the ZX3 (about $3k left). I wouldn't worry about the mileage if you plan on re-building the motor. Unless there is major rust or the car has some crazy issues I would keep it.

Sounds like a good car, I would just re-build the motor with some goodies and go from there.

It is a good car no rust or anything. I forgot to say it is an auto. and I'm thinking about making it a 5 speed. Has anyone done this and is it worth doing?
