So, i lost one due to pot hole bending them. Now my other is letting air out the tire because the chicago salt has corroded the chrome so bad.

God, i hate when stupid problems arise like this. Im going to get some 18's for my car and put some 315's on the ass end and maybe 275s on the front. I dont have the money for rims and tires so im not sure when im going to do this. Im thinking i should get some 18' SVT wheels like hands and RED.

Heres a article on my chrome problem: http://www.truedelta.com/pieces/chromewheels.php

Anyone else have a problem with there chrome wheels corroding? I know when i get new tires im going to remove them in the winter. I didnt know salt could kill the rims ability to hold air.

Ya, i just got off work and it was flat again. I just filled it up 4 days ago which i knew was going to leak again. I had my compressor with me and filled it up to 23 psi and drove it across the street to discount tire.

i believe SVT rims are OEM 17 inch..
Your right. I want something bigger than 17inch. They look to small in my book on the body style. 18 is the sweet spot =] 19's and above is too big.

but
i mean something like this, but now im scared of chrome.:

SVT rims like Handz and RED's are 17s I believe.
That's why I said OEM SVTs are 17s because you said you wanted one like theirs.

Red's rims are actually 18" Replica Satin Finish 03 Cobras

damn. So, i was driving and a guy in a teal v6 with bumper inserts and dual exhaust kept trying to keep up with me car to car. So we finally get to a stop light and he pulls down his window. Says, "do you have any more of those 5 spoke gt wheels" As you know i hit a pothole and my cobra r rim is damaged so i have one stock 5 spoke GT and 3 cobra r rims on my car.

2 out of 4 of my stock gt wheels are bent. 1 on my car right now is fine and the other is in my garage.

The guy asked if i wanted to sell one :hammer: So, now i have to decide if im going to sell him my other good 5 spoke wheel. I dont think so because the discount tire guy said i have alittle life left on my current corroded cobra r rim. So, i might need my stock 5 spoke GT wheel real soon.. Maybe i wont.

Damn.. i want to sell it. I need some cash lol.

Im selling my prochamber most likly and this wheel. Thats enough for a new high end graphic card for my pc. YESS

Yup Mike's got it right. Mine are AFS replicas. If you want to have a sportier look and maintain stock drivability I'd get 17s. If you want the epic baller look but feel the weight of the wheels get 18s. My rear wheels with tires probably weigh 45 pounds each. :nonono:

lol epic baller. hey with 18's and that 45 pounds can you still do a 2 wheel burnout or is it a one wheel peel?

I want the epic baller look as you call it. 18 is the highest i will go. Can you please post some side shots of your car.

Also, what i should do i sell my midpipe and wheel and put that in the bank to help pay for my new rims and tires :coolsmiley: but hey i just built a new computer and need a better video card. I hate making choices.

I've never tried actually. I'm trying to squeeze as many miles out on those drag radials as I can. I do know when I lay into the throttle in first gear it lets the clutch slip before the wheels spin.
