Well I have found a 03 cobra hood without vents and insulation for 40 bucks from a guy, perfect condition in torch red. Also have found a 2003 cobra front bumper in great condition for 80. Would it be a "sin" to put the front bumper and hood on a v6? I think it would look good, but I'm not trying to turn this into a cobra clone or anything like that. I will still keep the rear bumper thats on it, but I was just considering doing this after my wheels. I just wanted to get an opinion from all of you guys and see what you think.

I think some body swaping is ok. fake badging is rediculous, I know you won't go putting snakes on your ride. :mikec:

It's kinda up to you, hood and bumper will really look like a cobra, and those parts do look good.

Yeah I will definitely keep the cobra's off the car. But I think that combo would look good and then get a GT back bumper. I just found them so cheap and in such good condition, it's kind of hard to pass up and I think the cobra look is amazing. But I don't want to be a lamer or anything by having cobra body parts on a v6.

Well ive seen good condition front bumpers go for 350 and hoods go for around the same. So maybe I can buy them and then sell for some performance upgrades, who knows. But I'm definitely going to get the guy to keep them for me and then buy them when I get the chance either way. I just wanted to see if it was worth actually putting them on my car.

I just went and picked them up, I told my friend about them(he has an 03 cobra). I told him I paid about 150 a piece for them and I will let them go for 200 a piece. He said that he'd think about it. So I might make a good bit off of them.

He was in a bump up with a little 240sx a couple weeks ago(guy changed lanes without looking and it did some minor damage to his front bumper and his hood is a little dinged in the front. The parts are sitting in my garage right now and I cant wait to get the money from them to maybe get a CAI or some pulleys.
