I like the flat-looking black in the shop. Would you go gloss of flat? I think the flat still keeps that constrast, but kinda tones it down. I like it.

i dont know about flat black, but i also dont know about gloss black. i think going with a semi-gloss would give you just enough contrast without the "satin texture" looking out of place.

I think a satin would look pretty good, then maybe a red pin stripe around the outer rim? Would be interested in seeing a chop of that.

That looks good, though I think i'd just stick with one redline. Two looks kinda cheap in my opinion.

Definitely don't make the lip flat and keep the face glossy...that would be ugly...go with a semi-gloss on the wheel/lip with a red strip around the lip...I like that.

If my car was a lighter color...I would consider painting the lips on my wheels body color...just a thought.

Photoshop ur car with red lips, that could be SICK

Jon, I actually think darker color cars can pull off the matched lip on black wheels better than lighter color cars. I think your car could go either way. I like how the polished lip creates a contrast with the black accents, but a DFG lip would look pretty slick. I'm sure you've done this yourself already...

Yeah I already did this to my bullitts but they were 05 style, not deepdish. You can go ahead and do it and feel unique cause now im doing it too some 2000 cobra R's lol. Im not gonna be runnin the bullitts so dont worry about another guy doing it.
