Just got a set of brembo's off of an 08 GT500, looks like I'm going to need some wheel spacers if I want them to fit behind my 17" cobra R wheels.
something tells me going from the stock 10.8" rotor and single piston caliper to 14" rotors and 4 piston brembos should bring it to a hault a lot faster.
I'll post pictures of them on the car as soon as i get them mounted, may take me a few weeks, I need to make brackets to mount the new calipers

That is beast. It already is a night and day difference from what I heard with the twin piston calipers. I can't even imagine 4 piston.

yeah, I plan on taking the 10.8's from the front and moving them to the back, and then putting a brake bias controller in it. Should be a fun project.

what are you going to do for a parking brake?

X2.. The factory rear calipers on our cars have an internal parking brake. If you switched the fronts to the rears, you could always
carry around a few bricks to chalk your wheels... :dontknow:

It is strictly a track car, I don't even have it registered or insured, I hadn't thought about the parking brake untill you mentioned it, but I won't be using it any way haha

honestly, I work in a machine shop, Im going to buy a set of studs and make myself a set of spacers, I test fit the brakes in my wheel and it clears, but just barely, any deflection on the track and i'm screwed, 1" spacers should take care of the problem.
