Ok guys, I've changed up my ideas to something a little more simple but still give me plenty of power and fun! I don't know how to delete threads or if you can, but please let me know how if it's possible so I can delete my previous thread on my plans.

So this is my new idea that will take place over the next few years, in roughly the order I will perform them in on my 2000 convertable mustang gt. I already have borla stingers cat back and tri ax short throw shifter. Next up is a magnaflow tru x catted x pipe, followed by 3.73 gears and a hand held tuner.

Next up is the 2.6 kenne bell, cooler spark plugs, 60# injectors, kenne bell cool air filter, 5" intake, lethal performance 1000 horsepower capable return style fuel system, glenns performance mustang sleeper fuel tank, 8.5" crank pully, electric water pump, and lower boost as low as I can till the car can handle 14 pounds. I'm not installing the kenne bell until I have everything I listed previously, and I'll put it all on together.

Once I'm finished with putting that stuff together, I'm going with mmr 1000 horsepower capable forged internals with low compression pistons. Next up is preparing the suspension. I'll be buying H&R super sport springs, Maximum Motorsports caster camber plates, steeda upper control arms (would you guys suggest adjustable or non adjustable?), steeda rear aluminum lower control arms, full length sub connectors (please suggest a good brand to me), steeda bumpsteer kit, steeda x2 balljoint kit, tokico d spec adjustable strut and shock kit, and eibach sway bar kit. That sums it up for the suspension.

Next up I'll be looking at a new 6 speed manual transmission (please give me some advice on a good transmission that can handle plenty of power), While I'm getting the transmission I'm going to swap out clutches to handle my end goal as well, and a carbonfiber driveshaft from mmr. Then I'm lookin at a new 31 spline differential (could use some brand suggestions on this as well), then moser 31 spline axles.

After those mods, I'm buying new black 2010 gt500 style rims. 18/9 in front and 18/10 in the rear, and I'll be wrapping the front tires in either 265, 275, or 285 tires and 305 or 315 in the rear. I'd like it if I could avoid having tires that I'd need to replace yearly, but if it's unavoidable then so be it, I'll happily pay the bill if it will get me the traction I want. I'm also going to upgrade to cobra r big brakes in the front, and if I can find them, also get the cobra r rear brake kit.

The next thing I'll be getting is trick flow heads and 270 comp cams with patriot performance valve spring kit. At this point, I believe my car should handle the 14 psi for daily driving. My car is first and foremost a daily driver. I wanted something that is much more faster than your normal mustang gt and much more fun. I like going fast and this will be a long build that me and my dad could have plenty of fun with. I will be taking it to the track to play around with, and at the track I will be swapping pulleys to run 20 pounds or more if the car can safely handle that power. I may also be taking the car to autocross events from time to time, but it would definatly be more of a straight line car. All in all, I would like a fast, fun, and comfortable daily driver, a fast track car, and something that isn't just fast in a straight line but on twisty turns. I'm not expecting to go full throttle around turns, but I'd like to be able to get around and have fun on them.

Now that you guys know how I'm going to set up my car I would love it if anyone would answer a few questions for me! What kind of horsepower should I expect? How will my traction be? Will it be decently comfortable and firm? Will I need more in the way of suspension upgrades? Please suggest ANYTHING else that I will need or may need to upgrade to keep my car reliable!!! Any suggestions in generally are very welcomed and appreciated, but I also am pretty set on this goal. Again, please please please give me your input!!! Thank you all!

Thanks musturd! How do you think it will be? I'm only 19 and this is my second car, first one was a 99 ford escort. I've always loved mustangs and had big dreams on different types of builds. I could definatly use any advice anyone is willing to give!

If it were me i'd go with a full out MM suspension kit. I also wouldn't mess with the x2 balljoints etc. MM bumpsteer kit outers, and Moog inners is what i'd do. Depends on your budget though. I'm more of a handling type guy, so suspension will complete before the engine gets built.

If you're only 19, i would stay away from the supercharger for now. The 2.6 kit from kb is like $5500.
You don't want to blow that kind of money when youre so young. Keep it for more important stuff.

Oh, and I doubt you'll put down any power through a corner without at least a good panhard bar. A torque arm + panhard bar and some good LCA's would be ideal. Otherwise that rear end will be about as predictable as an emotional woman.

@slykin Where can I find the full MM suspension kit? Are you suggesting MM outers or moog outers? Also where can I buy a solid panhard bar online? I'm getting steeda rear control arms or because you suggest a full MM suspension, I'm going to look into MM control arms. Do they have the option to get adjustable or non adjustable? If so, what should I go with? I know this is a bit of a stupid question, but are there front lower and upper control arms? I've never found any aftermarket front control arms, and I'm pretty new to car modding so I was never sure. Should i get any new balljoints? Do you have any other suggestions? Thank you for your suggestions I appreciate it very much!

@ferocious The car is very important!!! I save a set amount of money aside for my car, and other money for whatever else I may need so I always have some money for anything I may need, so it's not like I dump every last penny into it, just most of my money:p but I do always keep a good chunk of money in the bank at all times so it's there if I need it.

@Slykin I almost forgot, how would a full MM suspension ride? Would it be good for daily driving? Not a bunch of loud, gross creaking and what not?

@Ferocious Thanks bud It's a build that will be going on for a few years, so it definatly won't be fast. Being young, I obviously don't have tons of money, so as I said, i have a little bit that goes to the car, and money that goes in the bank. I just recently turned 19, so I still live with my parents, so it's not like I have bills or a bunch of things that I really need to take car of. Pretty much just gas and whatever I need to take care of.

I would for sure start form the back end first. If you're planning big power, make sure the car can put it to the ground (suspension) without exploding parts everywhere (transmission, axles, etc)

Other then that, please put some spacing in your post lol. It's hard to read :p

@Kissrocksforever Looking at it again, it is pretty hard to see. As I said though, I'll be running at the lowest boost i can get it at and I feel like the car will handle it just fine. I'm expecting to make under 430 horsepower and there are stock mustangs handling that just fine.
