i was in the base school parking lot and a few cars down from the truck i see a white 96 gt, supercharged steeda, and such all over it with fr500s. cleanest sn95 ive seen in person. 11lbs of boost forged internals. he told me about a place here in va beach where jason steen works at and recommended me going there to get some p&p work on my pi heads. i know this is useless but imma try to get some pics. i see this cat all the time. he said hes pushing almost 400hp.

Steen... well, from what i've heard they do, do great P&P work, but Jason Steen was a dick head to me. I've known a few other people who were treated not so nicely when dealing with Steen... I know a few other people in the Va Beach/Norfolk area that will do work. you new to the area? if so, and you haven't already, join www.tidewaterracing.com it's the local site for the Hampton roads area... there's a guy on there screen named WhatZ55 he has his own shop, i believe it's one bay, but i've heard great things from him, and in my dealings with him, he's been great. i've had issues getting my gears installed cause after my son was born the money wasn't there, but he's stuck with me even after i've commited and had to back out twice. great guy, great reviews from people who have done buisness with him, if you need anything done, hit him up and i'm sure he could help, or point you in the right direction. OR there's another guy named Rick, who owns Ricks Car Care over off Military HWY. he's pricey, but he does GREAT work, he installed and fabbed up my exhuast on the car now, and done work on my buddies old H/C/I '04 GT and my other buddies 331 powered '95 Cobra. He's a Mustang guy through and through. his SN is Twist 2 go. if you got any questions shoot me an email at work [email protected] i've been in the area awhile, and might could help you out. my house is like the 24 hour a day shop, stereo's, tranny's, oil changes, my friends are there at my place atleast 3 times a week working on their cars.

i was stationed here like back in 02 and left lastyear and came back by a ripoff on orders. i just got into the mustang scene. i might have to swing by and say whats up. ill take your word and try out these other places. im trying to get my swap done while im here and p&p'n. my buddy has an eclipse and shown me a little of the va beach scene off independence but it seemed too ricey with 1 mustang in the crowd. 94-95 and ppl were crowding around his car. im not the 1 and get all groupie'ish over another car but im trying to get contacts around here. little at a time but making progress. along with the swap im trying to get gears also.

I'm not really to big into the Mustang scene other than my group of friends i hang out with, and a few people i've met along the way... there's a guy, he lives right there on oceana Blvd, he and I have been emailing a lot back and fourth about some subframes he wants to make, and also about just car shit, as i've been out of town or out to sea, so we haven't had the chance to meet up, not to mention when i was in and out to sea, when i was home, i was spending it with my wife and son... but he's around, so there's myself, i've got a buddy with a '95 Cobra, a '97 GT, another friend sold his '04 GT, and is looking at a '93 Hatchback right now, I know a few others in the area through myspace... they say the good car show is on the other side of the water in Newport News, i'll have to get more info for you though. You can put on your calendar if you want. FFW Richmond. it's June 20,21st and 22nd. some buddies and I are already putting money back and saving so we can go. we've even worked out the schedule as far as duty all the way up till then. LOL... we're planning on going up either friday morning or afternoon. depending on when we get off, and coming back Sunday afternoon when it's over. so maybe keep your calendar open for that. I'll be around all day, i've got duty... prolly try and get some sleep or something, but other than that, i'll be in my shop, reading emails, or playing here on SN95forums...

By the way, I live down by NOB... say you took 264 to 64, and then exited on Chesapeake, i'm about 15 min down the road off chesapeake blvd. it's a drive for you, but maybe we could meet up at hooters on military or something sometime.

I came back from deployment end of May '07, and after POM leave i was in and out, so the ship could keep it's Quals up. we've been in port since Mid December and will head to Portsmouth on Tuesday or Wed(i'm all confused) to start our 6 month unavailability period. then back out to sea in August. I make 3 more workup underways starting in August, then start terminal leave either at the end of October, or first week in November.

If you're attatched to the Ike, you're going to HATE life... they go on cruise Feb of '09 for 5 months, back in port for 5 months, then roll right back out for a westpac for a 6 month deployment. for whatever reason(i think it's to make people re-enlist) us east coasters are alternating, eastpac, then westpac... but the Ike and whomever is attached will hit 2 cruises basically in a 1 year period. what squadron you going to be with?

screw that, AND the money... no way in hell i would do 11 months worth of deployment in a 16 month time frame... plus i'm married, so i don't need a wife, or don't need to bring anything home with me TO the wife. LOL... a buddy of mine on the shitty kitty said Australia is JUST like they say it is... 4 girls to every guy, and they love americans... said he'd never had an all girl orgy till he went to Austalia. LOL, i didn't believe him, then the pictures followed. yup, i believe him now.

who is 143?

My sea/shore is 5/2. Thats why i'm not hanging around, than and i can't stand the khaki's. and most LPO's on this boat blow dick to... my LPO is a complete pushover. i wish he would grow some balls and stand up for his people... I'm an E4, and our work center Supervisor is an E4, he and I know our equipment inside and out, and other than meetings, our LPO lets he and I deal with everything. it would just be nice to have him support us when shit was hitting the fan for no reason.
ahhh... a pukin dog, man wtf... you guys' logo, or symbol, or whatever you call it, looks like a friggin cat. and it's not pukin, it's flying, you should be the flying kittens....

I missed EN2 on my first exam with no PNA points, or good conducts or NAMS by 12. didn't study either... so this time, i'll study a little, got 2 PNA points, and 2 points for my good conduct, looking back, i was a little nervous and i put the wrogn answer to a few that i KNEW 100%, so i COULD have actually made it. a girl in our shop made it when i missed it, she actually scored lower than i did on the test, but her eval(cause she's been under the desk since day 1) was an EP, i've never had anything better than a MP, course, nothing worse than either, but still... an EP and i woulda killed it. I made EN3 3 cycles ago by almost 45 points... I was in the top 95% on that exam. i'll put some effort forth now, so i can get that over $2000 paycheck the last month i'm in the Navy. LOL

I got the '03 Cobra rims, a JLT CAI, and an Aluminum Driveshaft from a guy named John down in VA beach. I met him on Tidewaterracing.com, posted a want add for some '03's before i headed out for cruise, he emailed me. i told him my situation, he held onto the rims and tires and all the other shit the entire 8 months i was gone, picked them up the first week i was home. his scnreen name on TWR is Waves&snd or something along those lines... He had all that stuff on his '95, but sold it as he's got an '01 Cobra, great guy... he just emailed me at the perfect time. Johnsons Mustangs and Trucks junkyard out in Chesapeake used to have a set of 4. the rears were 10" wide that they have. I was going to see if they were interested in trading the 17X9's i've got with tires, for a set of just the 10" rims. I need them to put my 315's on.

Google Ricks Car Care... he's one of the guys i was telling you about in one of my earlier posts... get his number and call him up, he sometimes has parts laying around that he'll sell for a good price to make room in his shop, if not, he sometimes knows somebody who has what you're looking for. as for Mustangs... It's every saturday night at the Bass Pro Shops in Newport News... I THINK it's off the Mercury exit, but i might be wrong... i was checking Myspace earlier, and thats what i was being told... apparently thats pretty much the muscle car hang out, not much rice... i think about 8, the later it gets the more muscle, muscle cars are out. but i think around 11 they all roll.
