I just purchased a boss inc hood at fun ford weekend in orlando, quality of the hood seems very good. It bolts on well and seems to line up, the only problem i am having is with the factory hood latch.
Basically, the latch appears like it needs to be lowered, when the hood closed it barely latches in and is a good inch too high.... I removed the spring holding the latch up, if I lower the latch all the way it seems like the hood catches, closes, and locks.....
My question is, does anyone have a good solution for " Lowering the factory latch " ? It appears the latch is designed to be all the way up, and i need it to be all the way down...... I appreciate your help as I want to avoid using hood pins if I can.... thanks
