Hello all, Decided to join the forums. Recently picked up a Red '96 GT with 76k miles. The only mods the car has is a K&N Intake and an SLP Loudmouth Exhaust, and all I've done since I bought it is remove the spoiler, pull the rear seats, and change the oil and coolant. My plan is to build a mild daily driver. Maybe 300 to the rear wheels. Can't wait to see some of the builds here!
Welcome! Elizabeth, CO here. I have a couple of SNs ... and a Fox ... and a 65, I need help, lol. I'll be at High Plains Raceway this weekend with my 94. Come out if you have time, it's free to spectate, may even get you a ride in #71 for a few laps.
Don't go with Rich, he has no idea what he's doing ;p Just kidding! If you're close, Rich is a wealth of knowledge. It'd be awesome to live near him. Dude gets motor swaps done in about an hour Welcome aboard! Your goals are very easily achievable!
Welcome to the site! These cars are awesome and easy to mod get good power out of. And,.....you came to the right site. A huge wealth of knowledge here.
Frank.JD.Perez - Hey man my plans are pretty mild street build (~300 rwhp). I still consider myself a newbie, which is another reason I came here for advice. I've been reading around the net for a while now, and think I have a decent grasp on what I want to do. I am planning on something along the lines of... I/H/E, PI half or full swap, 3.73 gears, staggered wheel setup, short throw, etc Who knows, though. I would love to boost it, but idk if the funds are sufficient at this point ha.
