The first night I drove it, I was in love... thought the asking price of $5500 was optimistic though, but the girl had receipts for rebuilt trans, with upgrades, upgraded clutch, rebuilt rear end, new LSD, new gear, all new bearings and seals, new shocks, new brakes, new tires, flowmaster exhaust, K&N drop in, all had just been completed... it does need a little touch up on the rear bumper... and the occasional stone chip and some clear coat... but, it drove like new... I drove another 95 the next night, this one had leather, some ebay cold air set up, and a massive stereo, grand less... drove like crap... I used my powers of persuasion and got it for $4300.. :D

I think I'll put some insurance on it tonight and go for a burn

That's awesome, and pretty much the exact same set up that I had in my Scorpio Cosworth back home..

Si

Lol... The Cosworth was quick.... Bring back memory's back in the day.. When my uncle had a 87 Merkur xR4ti and my dad had a brand new 87 Thunderbird TC... When both had a 2.3 turbo motor... Lol.. Same as the old SVO mustang.. Those was the days...

Not all 4 doors were scorpios... so, here's a quick Cosworth tutorial..

First.. The Sierras.. all 2.0 4cyl DOHC turbo 5speed
Sierra RS Cosworth

Then, the Sierra RS500 Cosworth

Then the Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth

Then the Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth 4x4

Then we have the Ford Granada Scorpio Cosworths, all are 2.9 V6 24v 4spd auto,
Hatchback

And the rather ugly, facelifted, station wagon

And finally... the Escort RS Cosworth... 2.0 4cyl DOHC turbo AWD 5spd..

Great color if I ever had to choose a color it would be sapphire blue, but they only came on 95's.
