You can get a complete Cobra conversion for 350, or 400 if you want snazzy red caliper's. Complete means it includes new EVERYTHING, pretty awesome swap for not much cheddar. You can't run Cobra caliper's on GT rotor's.

You are mostly correct, a little grinding and they will fit 15" or 16" wheels, some people are not comfortable with that though.

yea...I would do it..but I cant afford them right now. I just spent way too much on sportlines, strange struts/shocks, caster camber plates and getting that installed/ alligned.

yea..actually I think im gonna do the swap...considering its probably about the same price as buying stock stuff.

Anyone know what year the red cobra brakes were stock?..

also can I buy the braided steel lines I need from a dealer?

I work at a car dealership so I can probably get a hell of a deal on brakes for "my car" haha...aka 2001 cobra calipers, and rotors

The red caliper's are 03 10th aniversery caliper's, but not all 03's are 10th aniversery car's. The red with running horse caliper's are Bullit's.

o..just curious, red calipers seem to look good on blue cars to me. So do you know how to make them fit my 16 inch rims?

It's either Scarface or Snakebit one of them has run 15" wheels on their Cobra and could help you more than me. I know you need to grind a little off the bracket, and maybe use a spacer.

I made my stainless lines on mine. I wouldn't recommend it for the faint or heart right now though. I had to cut the nut off the line to put a right sized one on and all that other jazz, cost me like 80 bucks really

It takes a 1 inch spacer to make a 15" skinny clear a cobra caliper.

Naw, i was wondering b/c the cobra back rotors were like bigger than the gt front rotors... i think the gt had 10.6 and the cobra is like 11 or 12 or something bigger.

Yeah the Cobra is 11, but I don't think it causes a problem with a 15" wheel. 11" rotors were the standard back in the day.
