Hello everyone. My name is Mike, 26yrs old from the Harrisburg, pa area, and I am new to the mustang world .... sort of. I've never owned a mustang or even a v8 for that matter. My dad owns a 96 gt, heavily modded, so all my info on stangs comes from him. I have tagged along with him to many car shows and have seen many mustangs and hopefully this year we both go to many shows with our stangs. Now a little about my car. I bought her back in October '12 at a dodge dealership. It's a 1998 Mustang GT, factory stripes, ALL STOCK (when I bought it), and 27,000 miles on her. She's painted Chrome Yellow, has cloth interior and is black inside. At first I wasn't 100% sold on the color but when that sunlight hits her, she's beautiful. So far I have a BBK black out series cold air intake, Pypes o/r x pipe, and Magnaflow Magnapack catback system. My plans for her are not going to be anything that extreme as of now but I would like to eventually turbo her. Hope you all enjoy the few pictures I have. I also like to do some photography work. That is why some of them look professional.

Dang that is one clean ride.... and welcome to the mustang scene/forum. I think if you removed the decals and lowered it, it would be a real looker. I love those wheels.

The decals are factory. Well there is a very small pin stripe going down the sides but it matches the other bigger decal. They're staying :p. I do plan on getting some FR500's in black chrome eventually. Once this weather shapes up I will try and take some good interior pictures. When I got into it the first time it had that new car smell.

Also there's quite a few around my area that have low miles on autotrader. But yes 27k is really low and I couldn't pass that up. I'm the 3rd owner. Previous owner had it for a few months and couldn't keep it (had a family). The first owner was an older guy who clearly didn't drive it that much.

Clean ride man. I actually like the stripes! Not something you see everyday, makes it special. Glad you joined the Mustang family, and our forums here! Hope you enjoy your stay!

Oh I'll be posting a video of the exhaust asap. I have to find an area away from neighborhoods lol. I'll let you know how the fitment is tomorrow night.

I think the stripes look good on it. But as noted, lowering it will help.

You said you wanted black chrome FR's. If you don't drive it much, or leave it outside, then I would say thats fine. If it's driven a lot I wouldn't. The black chrome likes to peel. I would look into machined.

Yes the stripes are a very nice touch! Sets it off from all the others! I love it man! Welcome to the family, get comfy because you got plenty of miles ahead of you! I've owned 4 mustangs, 2 Foxbody GT, A 96' GT with 200I and looked great and ran great and now my 98 GT with only 93,000 miles only thing I've done so far is a new coil pack other than that she's been very reliable to me!

Yeeaaaaa I heard it peels to from someone. That sucks because they look really nice with the yellow. Plain chrome over powers the paint and flat black is to ricey. But I will look at the machined. Thanks buddy.

I actually like those stripes!! I wonder how they would look on my red stang. I'm not too fond of the upper pinstripe though. Really clean car!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
