Hello all,

New here from dallas.

I have a 95 Ford Mustang V6 3.8L that my wife bought (used) when she was 15 years old. Since then the motor has gone out (we had it rebuilt). The transmission went out (that too was rebuilt) and it then went through a hail storm busting out most of the windows! (softball size hail).

My wife (whitney) has giving me the go ahead to do with it what I want (that will be her famous last words lol).

Since then I have sanded it to metal and fixed most of the dents, replaced the camshaft position sensor, MAF sensor, and various other parts. Happy to say the check engine light is now off!

It was originally White with black and red interior, I am going to be changing it to a metallic black exterior.

Within the next 2 weeks I will:
1. sand back to metal
2. fix areas I missed
3. reprimer
4. replace struts/shocks and springs

5. Replace gauge cluster/HVAC lights with cool white from superbrightLEDs.com
6. paint calipers
7. Repaint black interior parts
8. Clean the dang things interior
9. Fix push button start
10. Install Gauge Bezels
Chrome Gauge Ring Bezels (94-04 All)

Last week I:
1. flushed radiator
2. changed fuel filter
3. changed plugs and wires
4. replace cam sensor

Off to a good start, if you all have any ideas for my car please let me know....Im looking forward to this (extensive) rebuild.

Sorry this is so long, just thought I would put all the details out there

Looks like you're off to a good start! Welcome!

*** Have you ever had C springs before? They're race only imo. They are darn stiff and you will end up needing a back replacement after some time driving with them lol.

I thought the C springs were street friendly, Either way i would consider a set of H&R springs. I love mine and will never own another spring!

I have c springs with 3/4 coil cut in the front and dead coil +1/4 coil out back and it rides like stock.
mine arent stiff at all. even on bumpy roads with people in the car the ride is still pretty good . but thats just me.

WELCOMEPlans sound good. My son has "B" springs on his 98 because they're progressive rate. No CC plates were needed to get the alignment correct either."Bs" have the ssame drop as the "Cs" only they ride nicer.
