New hood... Should I?

Found a wrecked V6 Mustang locally that has a Cobra-style hood on it already painted Laser Red (just like my car). It has a couple of VERY small nicks in the driver's side edge where it met the now smashed fender, but they're so small as to be hardly noticeable and could easily be fixed.

Guy only wants $100 for it, but I'm not entirely sure I *want* a Cobra hood on my car... I like my factory one with the black "Mach I" stripe quite a bit. I suppose I could always put the black stripe on the Cobra hood too, but I'm just not sure I should spend the money on something I don't really need... Just seems like too good a deal to pass up. I suppose I could always put the Cobra one on my red car, and put my current hood on the somewhat wrecked purple '94 I have yet to decide what to do with...

Your thoughts on the matter are welcome... Do you think I should get it or say forget it?

Hood is on car. I agree, am leaving the stripe off. Looks perfect the way it is.

Will get pics next nice day and post. Whole car looks better now. Definitely wouldn't be able to recognize this car from what it looked like when I bought it...

Finally got a picture of my car with the new Cobra hood and the '94 GT wheels. Now all I gotta do is get my Cobra front bumper cover, fog lights, and paint the bloody thing!

Thanks for the positive input, guys. Helps keep me motivated to continue building, rather than just being content to leave it as a daily driver only.

Next step is to decide what color I actually want to paint it... Can't decide between a candy red, a bright red metallic, or go nuts and do orange and black... I really like the orange/black idea best, but don't know yet.

What's wrong with the corners? I like 'em far better than the stock ones... The reflector at the back of the lenses match the Cobra headlights far better than factory.
