The car currently has a Dart blocked 331. It's a stock stroke, long rod, big bore (4.125"). With the 11:1 cr and Anderson N-71 cam; it's not very street friendly. It's an auto car with a PI converter that stalls at 4500. Gears are 4.10's.
I'm swapping in the 347 and having a custom cam ground by Ed Curtis. The Edelbrock Performer RPM upper and lower are Stage lll ported by Panhandle Performance. I'm running a BBK 75mm TB and a Lightning MAF. Injectors are 30lb units. Heads are TFS 170 extensively ported by Duffee with combustion chamber work by Mustang Mike. The 347 will be around 10.8cr with a nice tight quench. Headers are 1-3/4" MAC shorties tied into an offroad H pipe and 2.5" dual exhaust. The cat back is an older Edelbrock unit with their mufflers. I really don't care for the sound nor the drone.
My plans are to have a hot street car that I can also take to shows or go for a nice cruise. I don't intend on racing but you know how that goes.
