Ok, things are looking good now. I've got an appointment made with the current owner, he's bringing it over the 27th, from the UK.
Already paid some of the money too, and made appointments with customs etc to get it road legal.

Reason I didn't want to say anything is because I didn't want talk the talk and not be able to make it happen. But, since things are looking very sure now.. Here's the new mistress:

Because a SN95 cobra is rare enough in this country. I only know of 2 other ones. A black on black '97, and a red '97, both converts.

I don't like the look of the fender flares, and every car in europe has orange turnsignals lol. I have an american car, I want my red blinkers!

Gotcha!
I always thought having those fender flares molded in and smoothed out would look bad ass but I would definitely ditch the side marker turn signals.

You can always sell the export tails to one of our members.

I'll take the side mirrors :)

I'd sell you the side mirrors, but I'd first need a set of normal ones, and have them painted. But that'll come.
Tails are for the first person to offer me $250 for them, and Javi has first dibs. I already located some white verticals in Germany, so if that works out I'll have the tails off pretty soon.

Let me know on the mirrors... If they aren't crazy expensive i'd take them. I've passed up a few sets due to cost but I have the 96-98 export tails and the matching mirrors would be a nice bonus for shows.

I'll let you know. I'm not trying to make money, just covering as much of the cost for replacing them with normal ones would be enough. We'll see!

Do the exports come with more power or anything, or is it still the 305hp that the american versions came with?
I can see where you would want to get rid of all your export stuff, seeing how it isnt "export" to you. You see it every day, where to us it's something rare and we will pay hundreds of dollars for, lol

Not more HP, just what they consider to be "Safety" upgrades vs US Standards.

Is that sarcasm? I have seen plenty of sn95 cobras but have never seen an actual import cobra. Seen a couple of the tail lights but never any that actually belonged on the car. I agree the skirts are horrible but I would like them more then the work involved to remove them and the glue, only to have to fix the paint below it. I would call it unique in its current state and just another cobra if you rip it all off.

He is in Europe so most Mustangs over there do have the Import Items. Having an American version is probably even rarer.
