Its not sure yet though. Thing is: Buying and keeping the SN95 in Japan for half a year would allow me to self-import a stang tax-free. Used cars from Japan can be a true catch, because the Japanese tend to buy new cars every 3-5 years, and used cars are not that popular. Many vehicles have truely low milage, for commuting by car doesnt really make sense in Japan, especially in the bigger cities. The used cars themselves are really cheap in Japan. The costs await you later on, when registering the car, paying taxes and such. You need to prove that you own or rent a parking lot located max. 2 km. away from your house, otherwise you are denied the right to own a car. This can be troublesome for people living in central Tokyo, where parking costs 300-550 Dollar per month as an average.I am glad glad that they didnt change the import stangs from LHD to RHD, so are you dutch I guess, hehe. It was somewhere written that they even transferred some Mustangs into RHD especially for Australia (dunno if that was done officially or not).Please post some pics as soon as your new baby arrives.</blockquote>
