Hi all,
I just recently bought a 94 GT, im not new to tuning but im new to v8's, the car i had before this was a civic si, and now i got this thing. Im not to sure where to start on this project, im only trying to get up to 300hp to the wheels and i want to use it more for track and autocross more than drag. i was wondering where can i look for good deals on parts, where to start on making good power. I would really appreciate the time.

I recently gave up a b20 civic for my 95 gt bro. I know exactly where ya coming from. Only difference is I been around stangs all my life through my dad's shop. anyway, your choices for parts combinations are endless, just go with what works for you. but here are some sources to help you get started.

as far as shooting for 300hp, stick with basics. headers, exhaust intake, advance timing a lil, throttle body, intake manifold ( upper and lower ). and for gods sake, ditch those e7 heads in the trash can and get some gt-40's or better. the tfs ( trickflow street ) heads are a great choice for budget minding performance out the box. the best bang for the buck in the performance side though is gears. for 140-200 bucks or so you can get a set of gears ( 3:73/4:10 ) and your car will feel ALOT lighter, and it will improve performance substantially
