New NHRA helmet rules

I posted this in the new purchase thread, but thought everyone else would want to know. If you bought your Snell helmet before 2005 (and/or it has a snell rating before 2005), new rules say it has to be 2005 or newer. $99 at Cycle Gear, through March 1st. Seven Zero Seven, Vendetta 2.

any significant changes since then or was helmet sales down the past few years?

No idea really. It's stupid (especially since my helmet is used maybe twice a year), but I don't want to take the risk of being turned away when I get there.

I have both and open face and a full face, good thing both are newer then snell 2005
