Just got done with these for Dwayne James, my old boss and Outlaw 10.5 racer with the NMRA. I was pretty stoked at how they came out, sure took long enough, Anyway, thought you might like to see. Make sure to pick one up at the Hellion pits if you make it out to BG

a little busy for my taste as far as a t-shirt goes, but some people like that. design-wise it looks great... one thing that does stick out though, is how "tarnished" the text and backdrop looks, and how smooth the car is.... I think it would look a little better if you maybe gave the car a more eroded look?

I get what you're saying, but I don't think the car owner would appreciate it if I were to make their $100,000 + car look tarnished. ;)

The car is nicknamed "The Hellion" (because it's owner, Dwayne James is the other owner of Hellion, with John Urist). Hellion's are typically little demons or trouble-making creatures. Because of the brutal nature of the car (1,600+ hp and a 5-speed) and the nature and graphic identity of Hellion (plays off of hell and anarchy a lot), I chose skulls for the backdrop and eroded/destroyed fonts to communicate the "hell" idea. However, the car itself is very well kept and very smooth. I really wish I could have added more detail to the car to make it look more realistic, but I was on a tight schedule as it was, and didn't really have the extra hours to spend with reflections and subtle touches. So there you go.

Yea I know what you mean, it was just a suggestion. It still looks really good. But, at the same time, you've seen the Kocky Products shirts before, right? They have that black/white high contrast look to them, and the cars still look really cool. Just an idea.

Yeah I agree, and I'm a big fan of that look. For Promo shirts like this though, that will be sold at races, I always feel it's best to keep the cars as true-to-life as possible.

I hope you sell some on here. That looks awesome man

They're actually not shirts I'm selling, I just made them. They are for Dwayne James' Outlaw 10.5 car, he will be selling them this weekend at the Bowling Green NMRA race.

I wish I could buy one of these from ya, they look really cool.

If you're interested, I'll get in touch with Dwayne when he gets back from the race, and let him know you want one. PM me your info and I'm sure I can get one out to you.

Yeah they are a little crazy, they serve a purpose though. The force generated by the exhaust at 9,000 RPM and 40 psi of boost is the equivalent of another 250lbs on the front end. The car has a serious wheelie-ing problem, and the horns are to try and remedy that, and so far have worked pretty well.
