Hello I purchased a 95 Mustang GT with a Vortech supercharger and other mods. I'm from Canada.

I have a question about the Vortech supercharger. Its a V2 but its super noisy when running but also when I turn it by hand. Is noise a normal thing with that type or is a bearing gone bad?. This is my first boosted Mustang.

Welcome, the v2 has helical cut gears but stills makes sound. The v1 has straight cut gears and is comically loud

Thanks. It's a GT but the previous owner swapped a Cobra front clip.
