New to me 00 GT

So I’ve had it a few weeks now but haven’t had a lot to post. Here is the day I got her.

Upon arriving home I start to dig around and noticed the intake manifold looked small and it was a dorman. So I replaced that with a ford and added an air raid.

Then I didn’t like the front so I bought the Mach 1 chin spoiler and put it on. Soon to come is grill delete and new headlights.

And then I saw Metra finally realized they could make money off me so I just bought this.

The wheel centers caps are cracked all around and the wheels need cleaned.

I am thinking gears for now 3.73 and see how I feel. I honestly bought it to have fun with till I can get a 2015+. But the mod bug gets everyone

Just picked up a trunk lid (wingless) and dropped it off to be painted. These cars look so much better wingless in my opinion. I’ll have pictures to update that plus I’ll do the grill delete by friday

Didn’t get to the grill delete or backup camera install today but i got the trunk lid on wingless no plugs... this look is so great.

The center caps were worn out and cracked so today I spend some time making them as decent as I can with rattle cans. Btw these caps are expensive online.

Agreed the subtle changes to these cars set them off to me. Remove the spoiler, clear side markers, Mach 1 delete and lip, and lower and it’s good looking car.

Also just got a bunch of goodies in. New fog light lenses, inner and outer tie rods, lower ball joints to go with the lowering springs. Should be installed soon.

Throw some spacers on those rears, really helps the wingless trunk lid. Silver new edges look good. My favorite color

Plans are lowered next.

After that I’d like gears and a tuner.

I have new fog lights and caliper paint for when I have free time.

Lowered on AM progressive springs. Next will be caliper paint and fog light lenses. That will be it then I’ll be riding to Mustangs at Daytona in July.

I really would love to 4v swap this or get a Tork tech but I think it will stop at gears and tune.

not sure I would spend the money on the tune myself. How is the deck/kit working out?

Best upgrade with apple car play it has nav Bluetooth and back up camera. It brings the car into the 2010s in technology. The metra kit is nice definitely worth it over getting junk yard parts.

The tune would just be if I have gears to fix the speedo
