Happy new year all. I am just starting to work on the engine on my 94 mustang gt. I have done some modds on it buti need some advise. I have done headers off road h pipe flow master 40 serious 2.5 out the back. 377 gears and a shift kit on the auto tranny. Cooled air intake 70 mm bbk thorttle body, and a trick flow r upper and lower intake with the 1" spacer. I am just doning the intake andam wondring should i change my injectors or keep the 19s that are stock or go bigger and should i change maf it is stock at the moment.

Stock is fine until you do a cam and heads. But, I have a mild cam and GT40s and still have stock injectors.

Isn't that trick flow upper and lower really high flowing on a stock engine? I'd definitely look into doing heads and cam to match that intake

+1. That r series intake has a rpm range of like 2500-6500 iirc. You would be much better suited for a street burner or track heat. Like said above you might want to. Look into the other supporting mods. Nice list of mods your starting with though.

You'll want to get heads and a cam to go with what you have already.

The injectors and MAF should be fine, unless you go boost. When/if you decide to boost, the cheap way to upgrade would be to get both the items from a Lightning

Put the old intake back on and put the Trick Flow back in the box until you get some heads, cam, MAF, injectors, custom tune to make it work. Get some underdrive pulleys and start working the suspension to put the power to the ground. Adjustable upper and lower control arms, springs, subframe connectors, etc. Also i'd start putting real gauges in the car to monitor everything. Example autometer fuel pressure (electrical or mechanical w/isolater), oil pressure, water temp, and if you wanna get fancy...put a wideband in but don't waste your money on a narrow band. If you really want a kick in the pants for cheap......put the old intake back on, replace your fuel pump to a 255 in tank, buy a cheap dry nitrous system (zex brand new is under 600) finish it off with some sticky drag radials. Go race!

I loved the way my MM full length subframes stiffened my car up then even more after the MM lower control arms! It feels so planted going around corners & now I can hit the throttle doing that & no hopping! Upgrade to the Bullitt Mach 1, Cobra brakes too at least...with SS lines, & HPS pads it feels so much stronger. I already had the Eibach ProKit Plus suspension on it but now I want to try the Koni Yellow adjustible shocks & struts. Also waiting on Whiteline to make a watts link for the SN95's....then I might be done underneath for a while.

I plan on getting some MM full length sub frames soon, just gotta find a place I trust to weld them in.
