I love what you did with the hood vents, that looks sick! The side stripes look random, i could take it or leave it.

OK, check this out!

I got some black Saleen side stripes.
but as usual I didn't love where they were supposed to go, so i tried a bunch of placements, and decided I liked it best here, like on the 00-04's
the sides had to dry, so the backing is still on in this pic, if you're wondering.

This gave me a chunk of extra stripe, which I put to good use here:

Scoops like incredible man, not a huge fan of the Saleen gradient though, if you would have carried the same them from your hood vents to your side scoops I think it would have looked incredible.

thanks for the comments guys.

Madstang, what do you mean?

the car needs something on the side.
I tried the standard saleen stripe, various CS stripes and this looked the best to me.
plus, they're stickers! I can take em off later if I don't like it.

Outline the c-scoops in black and have a fade coming out of it like the hood vents

I really don't think it needs anything on the side. I think it looks perfect the way it is, those side thingers just don't look like they belong.

I love the new wheels man.
Not to hijack the thread, but how did you mold your side skirts into the body?

Thanks.
I had a body shop do it, bonded and blended them out, as well as filling out the bottom of the door so they match.

i like the stripes. think they break it up like you said. I still say those center caps have to go. you need something custom on there, just have to decide what that is going to be.

if you get flat surface center caps you can then just get decals made to work. it's what i did. 69clark hooked me up.

Jeff how do you like the tires so far? I have @ 100 miles on mine since I put them on this past Saturday and they are super quiet and have a comfortable ride. Tomorrow will be my first shot of rain with them on so hopefully they are good.

Gotta make your own center caps like I did, I made a thread about it in the Members Ride section.

interesting, i'll have to look into that!

Haven't put on 100 miles yet, but form the little driving I did, they're way better than my 555s.
quite, and better traction.
I didn't hit them too hard, since my tranny had to come back out, but i'm interested to see how they do for traction and a good throttle dump.
