Welcome to the forum from another NYer! Glad to see there are people up here that are active with their mustangs. Got any plans for her?

hmmm since you in NY I would say no more than 1" in the front and 3/4" in the back... but that's just my opinion.. and how many miles are on the car? id say replace shocks, struts, springs, caster camber plates, but it depends on what kind of ride your looking for and if your looking to build the power or not, if not, you don't have to go to crazy. again, just my opinion

Thanks and what you guys suggest for lowering as I will need to as I feel the struts are bad and will have to do might as well now lol

I refuse to lower mine. I put KYB Excel GR-2 Shocks and struts in mine like 2 months ago. My stock shocks and struts were pretty shot, the ride is a lot smooth and a drop tighter than it was. I definitely recommend those shocks and struts, look on americanmuscle.com they can be had for under $230 for both the shocks/struts in total. I've ridden in a bunch of lowered cars, every person I ask even at our local meet, say its terrible to drive around with but it looks good lol. I had lowering springs with me (1.5'' drop), my mechanic showed me exactly where I would have issues if i lowered it. Shipped the springs back. Our streets, especially here on SI are too damn bumpy, choppy and too many potholes to drive a lowered car. I have longtube headers, offroad X and MAC mufflers on my 95. You gotta hear it when/if you come to the meet.

Not to change the topic, but what you lowered on? You don't look slammed, I still want to lower mine but I have longtubes and they and my X hang low lol.

Naw im far from being slammed, the suspension setup came on the car when I bought it from a guy out in Cali... I never had any issues with it at all until I installed my turbo where the piping to my intercooler under the front bumper is a B****. My exhaust hangs a little low under the car but nothing crazy, but my front end definitely has a 1" drop for sure in the front at least. I wouldn't leave it stock man, give it an inch and trust me youll love it, even in NY
