A lot of people like to keep there original floor mats and some people just need floor mats
either way here's a way to have a nice set of mats on a budget this works great on cheap mats from
Auto zone. I picked a set cheap on eBay and eBay has tons iron on patches for about any car.
The fibers under the patch get saturated with the silicone and stay compressed causing the patch to
be recessed. Even under close inspection the patch appears to be stitched in

For the $12 it's going to cost me for a couple patches, and the silicone I already have with store bought mats, it's worth a shot to dress up the inside a little better.

wore out in a year and a half? Jeez the stock matts were better then that.

My only other fear of going too cheap was a couple of years ago I put some cheap matts in my truck. I can't tell you how strange it looked and how my chin was on my chest when the day after it rained I opened my door to see 3 of the craziest mushrooms I had ever seen growing out of the matt on the drivers side. I just stood and staired at it as they were pretty crazy lookin, and a good 3-4" tall too.... I gotta find that pic or you just would not believe me. Threw the matts out and have not replaced them yet.

The mats I got from Autozone were cheap like $15 and in a year and a half they were shot the drivers had a hole wore in it where
my heel would set. But keep in mind that was over 30,000 mi of driving.
I would rather buy a set of cheap mats every year or so than ruin the original Cobra mats. You ever price those things?

This was actually the next day. The first day I opened the door I just sat there with my mouth open confused as hell, they had a bright red cap with black dots on them then looked like something out of a cartoon. I only needed to make a quick trip somewhere that day and was taking the truck just to start/drive it but after seeing that I took the mustang. They were growing out/around the bottom of the matt..... True story no shit......

Ok wtf that's fucked up dude. I have now seen it all

The day before I took the pic when I first found them, I have only been more confused about the time I found the dead guy(another true story) which was seemed just as messed up honestly. In both situations I just sat there, stairing wondering if it was really real.... Yes they both were and hell no I didn't need to touch them to be sure....
