with the zex kit i think the "brain box" is what keeps it safe...correct me if im wrong..ive always used carbd kits with one shark nozzle. then i run an adjustable fuel reg. make sure you have a 255 pump. and a wide band is your best friend..as long as you know that 14.7 is idea a/f. and you dont mind putting the time into adjusting all of that...then shoot. its not to bad...im always re-adjusting mine...just to get more timing and always changing jets for the best hit....window switches and such are also very nice tools...they will limit rpm and all of when it comes on....so for example. in my car...its set to come on at 3150 and shut off at 6800 and then my shift light comes on at 6800 so i actually shift around 7000k. but that a 418 not a 302 or 4.6.

thats just how i do it..

(forgot to add...do the car and yourself a favor and dont spray under 3k rpms)

I always recommend to anyone throwing a wet kit on to first upgrade to the 255lph pump (it's a very very easy swap just purchase a svt focus pump and change the pump into your basket)

Second off I always recommend doing a wot "wide open throttle" switch and a window switch (i used a MSD digital window switch) this will allow you to only spray at wot and between say 3100 rpm's - 5200 or just shortly before you shift. If you are confident with messing with the timing yourself then like a steeda timing adjuster and a wideband are all you need to make the changes, I went ahead and got a tune for my nitrous to make sure i maximized the power gains. These things are not needed although if nothing else ATLEAST get the 255lph pump, but the rest of this is just fail safe stuff that I use to have.
I ran a 125 shot of nitrous for a long time, and the only reason i ever had any issue with nitrous was when some people were tunning my old motor and had no clue what they were doing and AFR was like 22:1 so that blew a motor up on the dyno lol
