The only prep I am doing for a 125 wet shot is colder copper plugs, WOT switch, window switch from 3k-5800 rpm, Programmer (SCT), and ARP headstuds for no gasket problems... All on the 2004 PI Motor.

2k seems a little low in the rpm range. I'd maybe spray a little later to be on the safe side but that's up to you. Other than that have fun with it.
Yeah your probably right lol. Ill try flippin the switch on a little later...

So you're just playin with it on the street? No track times yet? I actually have turned off bottom window of my window switch, because when I would launch it would pull the engine down and shut the nitrous off, not real conducive to good 60foot times. 2k is a little low, and really no reason to spray at that rpm's. You could go into the upper 2's and probably be ok. I think my data log show'd the lowest mine went to was around 2k. And that was kind of scary, just because I have had so many nitrous backfires. I don't want anymore! lol.

Why would you shut the window off if you are scared of backfires, do you juice it manually after launching or all clutch work? Kind of confused on your explaination why you would shut it off and when and how you would use the nitrous. WOT switch come in factor here?

Well it's a race car. You don't have time to push buttons or hold this or turn on that. It is all done through a wot switch, and an MSD digital 7 programmable. The MSD has a built in low and upper limit window switch. Sometimes, depending on track conditions, the car would hook hard and pull the rpm's down to below the window switch and turn the nitrous off, causing it to bog and then come on real hard. Turning the nitrous on and off like that, that quickly will cause a backfire very easily. Also, launching and having it hook and pull down to a low rpm is what bends and breaks connecting rods. You slow the velocity of the piston down so much that it gives the nitrous/O2/fuel mixture way too much time to burn and it creates a cylinder pressure that can't be compressed and pop, there goes your engine. That's why you don't spray at too low of an rpm, and why my car no longer launches at a low rpm. I just didn't feel like getting into this much detail is all, but since I did, hope it answer's your questions.

Yea no problem. I know all about the theory of nitrous and backfires. It just didn't click in my head with what you meant by pulling the engine down but you clarified that as the rpms. Got it now.

Everyone over complicates nitrous.

Cheap copper plugs.
A window switch is neat, but definitely not necessary.
WOT switch.
Don't be a retard.

Have fun.

Don't be a retard, key element that is partially eliminated with a window switch, lol.

Went to the 8th a couple times but I have absolutely no traction in 1st and 2nd. Im going out in a few weeks with some ET Streets to see what she'll do. I did cut a 8.9 without the nitrous so I'm excited :)

Then we get the 5.4 in and throw the 200 pills in :D
