Hey, Im thinking of spraying my 2000 gt. It is a daily driver so i dont want it blowing up on me. How big of a shot can i throw on it? Is it possible to have a 50-75 shot on the street and a bigger shot on the track? A local shop said they can install a bare bones kit for 1200-1400 or a kit with all the bells and whistles on it (bottle heater, purge valve) for 2200-2400. Good idea? let me know your opinions, Thanks.

your car can definetly handle the 75 shot, or even bigger if u want my friend had a 01gt daily with a 150 and never had any problems. but that price is kind of steep i think, for both options, you should be able to install a nice wet shot with ALL the bells and whistles for under a grand if you know where to look. my friend did a 150 wet kit wit a WOT window switch bottle warmer and a electric opener for like 950 i believe and its a relatively simple install if i remember correctly...gl however you do it tho man...

i'd spray a 100 shot upgrade your intank pump to a 255lph pump and i'd buy your own kit the prices they are asking are outrageous

Okay thanks for the help. There is really only one performace shop in my area so everyone pays what they are asking. Think doing it myself would be a good idea if it is easy. im thinking a 75 shot on the street and maybe a 100-150 on the track

it's very easy just follow the instructions and i recommend getting a window switch to make your kit a fail safe kit
