Example...3,000rpms in 2nd gear is going to accelerate and generate the required velocity to ingest the incoming nitrous and fuel MUCH better than begining to spray in say...4th gear at the same rpm....more load on the motor, the RPMs don't accelerate as fast to generate that intake flow....fuel puddle, intakes explode.
