NMRA in Bradenton, FL!

Who will be there?? All you People's better stop by the UPR Booth and check out the SwEeT RyDe that is going to be on display out there!! (LOL don't know what is wrong with me right now...feelin goofy....go with it)

The usual display car is not going to be there, so we are going to use my car instead

I will prolly be at the booth less than I was last weekend, but hopefully I'll still have a change to meet everyone again! *Excited*

Because the NMRA henchmen would stop me at the Mississippi and try to confiscate or disable my car.

Seriously, I have always wondered why the NMRA never came out west. We DO have some of the fastest Mustangs in the country out here.

Agree 100%... just not sure how many of the NMRA racers out this way would make the trip. Now if they had an NMRA east and west division and then at the end of the season had an NMRA finals with top 8 from each division, that might make for some interesting racing!


BTW... If you do come out this way to race i will buy ya a beer too!

I don't know how often I'll be at the booth, but the only downfall about the shirts right now is that we only have XL's in stock...Blue or Red? lol

Seriously, I have always wondered why the NMRA never came out west. We DO have some of the fastest Mustangs in the country out here.

They have had 4 events out West, they had 2 in Phoenix, and 2 in Ennis, Texas (which I know isn't really the "West" per say, but it's west of th Mississippi)

I was at the first Arizona one in 1998.

Anyway, they don't come out here because their bread and butter is all east coast stuff. Trust me, we have tried tirelessly to get them to come back out this way, but there are too many paying racers on the East coast that complain and stuff that they won't risk coming this way ( I say risk because all of the West Coast races were very scarcely attended).

We do have a lot of fast stuff out West, including the 3 time super street outlaw champ in the NMRA...

alright so it was definitely a blast! Sorry to anyone who was looking forward to seeing me and chatting with me at the booth, lol...it was so busy in the pits (passing out stickers, t-shirts, and tire covers to the racers) that I didn't get to spend any time at the booth at all! lol

How did everyone else enjoy the races??

The weekend was awesome, with the exception that i now look like a lobster...Urist's car was a beast, ans Murrillo's and Manny's cars were bad as hell too. Can't wait for next year. And Danielle, your car looked great at the UPR booth. Didn't really like the diamond plate floormats though, and your friend's car (white/pink GT) at the Nitto booth looked awsome as hell. I think i'm gonna steal that vinyl on the wheels thing and put my myspace on mine.. :hammer:
