Background info:

Car was born a 3.8, but had been converted to a 5.0. Car was driving like crap, shifting weird (auto), stalling, throwing codes, etc. basically acting like it did before the SCT chip. So I brought it to the performance shop that installed the chip. There it sat for an entire week. They got it fixed, but now I cant get my car to spray washer fluid. The wipers work fine, and theres plenty of fluid in the bottle. I see no reason for them to have messed in the driverside fender area or in the wiper cowl area where the fluid goes.

The solution naturally is to just bring it back and yell at them until its fixed, but Id rather not do that, because I dont want to be without my car for yet another week. Is there some quick way that I could fix it myself?

chck to see if you can hear the motor kick on when you press the squirt button... if not then it may be a bad motor or wiring. if that seems to work ok check the plumbing.

I got it to work somehow. I pulled the #2 fuse in the interior. Had to use pliers because it was in there good (like its supposed to be). I didnt think it would be bad, because then the wipers wouldnt work if it was. The fuse looked good, but slightly weird (despite looking like a good connection) so I showed my husband. I put the fuse back in, told him that I was going to try it and that he needed to listen. I got in the car, tried it, and it worked! Of course, now the argument is, did I get it to work, or did my husband? Because clearly it didnt work for me when he wasnt there.

You fixed, YOU DA WOMAN!

Thats nothing to brag about. Whats brag worthy was when I got my first car back after selling it 8 years ago. It had been abandoned at a shop for 8 years. The "owner" claimed it had a bad motor. I bought a new fuel pump. When it came in, my husband wouldnt put it in. Im sure he would eventually, just not right then. So I installed it. The car fired right up!

I was so proud of myself!!! I got my car to run all by myself!!! ...Thats nothing compared to just being lucky. Im pretty sure the only reason my washer fluid sprayed was because my husband was standing there.
