Hey all, been checking out this forum for quite awhile, never posted an intro thread though
Picture from old owner before being stolen (didn't come with the 2000r wheels, had 5 spoke stockers)
Car has a bit of history, originally from the east coast, driven a ton its first few years, then got to California. Owner here upgraded and babied it until it was stolen and recovered when he took out all the performance parts for his 67 (I believe). Ended up in pieces at my fathers work with the engine next to it where my dad stepped in and put it all back together. My brother spent just over a year with it driving the hell out of it and it developed an oil pressure issue which couldn't be solved. I took over and had the engine replaced with another 95 5.0 stock engine from a junkyard.
Final tally before me
156,XXX miles on rolling chassis
swapped in a 70,XXX mile donor 5.0
Now it is my car. I've driven it for several years, it has served me well. Always started (except when roommate left radio on overnight but just jumped it), never stranded me on the side of the road, been a great car. I plan on keeping it my entire life, its the only constant through many different jobs, women, and friends.
After the engine swap in July of 2009 I put 17x9 and 17x10.5 2003 Machined Cobras on it with 315's out back
Sitting pretty at 172,XXX miles. I live close to work so it is not daily driven. Had an emissions issue late last year so I put a full exhaust on it
