What do usually a NPI engine dyno perhaps with u/d pullies, t/b plenum, cai, exhaust.....on average? And if you lucky a nice tune for these bolt on's. Can you break into the high 13's with this setup?

186rwhp x 0.17 percent drivetrain loss = 217hp crank? Was this with the above mentioned bolt on's or just dynoing a stock npi and putting a tune.

With those bolt ons and a tune you would probably be lucky to add 20 rwhp total, with a tune. lol

NPI cars suck and without some PI parts, they really dont gain much power from anything.

If you were to do 4.10 gears and a pi intake on top of that with some really awesome driving and a great 60 foot you might see 13.99 but I doubt it.

Theres really no point to erace, jsut get out to the track and see what it does.

From my NPI experience, pretty much everything is a waste on them

Pi intake, gears and an OR mid pipe would be the only mods I actually recommend.

Thats a valid point. I feel like 13's is attainable but everything has to be dialed in. PI intake is a PITA because it doesn't line up to the tear drop ports correctly even with make shift gaskets.

I mean thousands of people run the pi intake on the NPI cars....just use pi gaskets and a dab of silicone on the coolant port....anyway, NPI sucks but your times will all come down to your driving skills.

I was going consistent 14.0-14.1s with a lot of bolt ons, pi intake, and tune with 3.73 gears but my car was auto with a stock converter....so with the ability to launch im sure it would have been closer to mid 13s.

Point is, you can probably get there with very little power if you can drive.

Do you have any 1/4 mile times currently?

I actually dont. The auto is being swapped out for built 5 speed this summer. I'm planning on trying to get all these bolt on's on practice racing down the track a few times this summer to see where I am at. If your turning 14.0-14.1's. You could definitely grabbed 13's.

Gotcha, that was years ago and like I said, it was an auto with a stock converter so there really wasnt much I could do to help it.

It just kind of rolled of the line and went, no wheel spin because the car had no balls down low with the stock converter.

Im sure I could have figured out a way to get into the 13s but I decided to stop messing around and bought a supercharger.

The funny thing is I never ran a 13 second time slip in this car.

Went from 14.0-14.1 straight into the 12s and now deep into the 11s....hoping to break into the 10s next time out.

Wow, you totally skipped the whole 13 second bracket lol, NICE. My plans are to pullies, t/b + plenum, added on to my cai, and exhaust. Maybe is im daring LT's but thats just a thought. I really want to see how far I can get without modifying the motor internally. After that goal is surpassed move on to the next. Plus I have a little score to settle with my trash talking s2k friend lol.
