hey guys i went to pull codes from my 94 gt and it kept coming up with an error telling me it couldnt link. anyone know what the prob is?

you plugged into the wrong port.
go get a haynes manual and it will become clear

Use the port by the passenger side strut in the engine compartment not the one under the dash and use an obd1 code reader or the paperclip method

OBDII was not used in the Mustang until 96+

It was used in the 94/95 6 cylinder cars though.

my fucking car has 3 ports. 2 obd1 under the hood. passenger and driver side. then obd2 under the dash on driver side.

Everybody has the port inside the car but it's only active the OBDII cars.
I'd like to see a pic of the OBD I port on the driver side. If you don't mind.

ok ill snap a shot in a day or so. it look exactly the same as the one on the passenger side. almost same spot too

Actually the driver's side is the ABS diagnostic terminal test port.
