MINE USED TO DO WHAT IT WANTED TO, SOME DAYS IT WOULD BE LEANING TO THE LEFT THEN OTHER DAYS IT WAS IN THE MIDDLE THEN WHEN IT WAS REAL HAPPY IT WOULD LEAN TO THE RIGHT!!! SO I CHANGED OUT THE SENSOR AND POOF!! IT READS LEANING TO THE RIGHT ALL THE TIME.

I HAVE HEARD THE SENSORS ARE CRAP AND GO BAD ALL THE TIME.

I've always wondered what was considered "Normal". Mine reads far left, All the way to the N.

The stock crap gauge will either read pressure or no pressure. It is in no way accurate or to be used for anything other than to verify you actually have over 6psi of pressure in the system. If you're worried about it then get an aftermarket gauge to see what it really is.

ya I went ahead and put in aftermarket gauge....If you get an autometer you will need to get the remote mount kit for the sender...

Screw getting a kit. a 18" -3 or -4 AN hose to a 3 way brass T mounted on the driver's side strut tower gets the job done just fine and looks spiffy too.

No, just remove the stock sending unit and thats it, oh and install the fitting where the oem went. The stock unit is useless in my opinion.

I think that is for Cobras only. Not sure though.

Its nice not to have a dead gauge and the stock one is not useless. If for some reason your aftermarket unit takes a crap the stocker is at least something to tell you that you actually have pressure. Like if the aftermarket unit takes a shit and the stocker is still fine then you can reasonably suspect the gauge and not the pump and not have to call a tow truck to tow you home for a broke gauge lol.

Plus running a T is about $8 worth of parts and takes about 10 minutes so why the hell wouldn't you do it?

You must be thinking of the oil cooler. The sending stuff on the cobras and GTs are the same.
