Oil psi idle

Well I installed a oil pressure gauge today. And upon startup the oil psi was ight. After a drive to make sure there wernt any leaks idle psi went from 11-15. This can't possibly be normal. I'm halfway till my next oil change. I was putting in 10-30 but I had a shop do it last time before the Cali road trip, and they wound up putting 5-30 in..


So is the pump on it's way out or is it some sludge?

I have the stock oil gauge run 5w30 full synthetic oil cold it runs about center of m on the word normal and between the r and m when its warmed up at idle. that may not help since its not in psi sorry. The odometer has 198749 miles on it but I dont know if the motor has been reworked or not I have only had it 4 or 5 years
