Hi, I'm Tom from Germany.
We have a japanese GT Convertible from 95 in black with Brown/beige leather interior.
He has the 5.0 HO engine and, unfortunately the AOD-E transmission.
Our little Mufti has 66.000km original mileage.
We own him since 3 years, and he finally drives, or better to say: he has Tüv, since Last year.

Last Weekend was the biggest european Mustang Meeting with round about 1100 Mustangs local, and due to the heat in Germany, the torque converter or the Transmission got Bad at the way Home, so that we had smoke behind him the Last kilometres.

I would really Like, to Change His Transmission to manual, but the parts are hard to find, or hard to get to Germany. We found a salvage Mustang at Copart, but we don't know how to get the whole Car over Here.
So maybe i must do the "Revival" of the AOD-E and the torque converter by myself.

We also have a pair of Export Tail Lights laying around, If anybody wants them

Best regards

I might be interested in the exports, I'm in Kaiserslautern/Ramstein area. Do you have photos of the tail lights? Horizontal? Vertical?

If you find the parts for repair, I can help get them here (to FRA Cargo). Just let me know.

For Sure, they are the verticals.
Photos come directly.

I was shocked, as i saw a pair of these at eBay US for nearly 1800$

Hello from another black Mustang convertible owner in the UK!

Alas I don't have the tan interior and I'm just the V6 but hey it's close!

Greetings from Denmark!!
I've got a white 95 with black interior here.
There are a few broken 94-95 for sale quite cheap here in Denmark. Maybe there's a transmission there. I look in Sweden and Norway for parts. There might be even more taillights ;-)

What is the name of the mustang meeting?

I've done few swaps for manual and it's not that hard to get those parts, try to search on Polish allegro or olx. You can easly source T5 trans with pedals from 3.8 V6. You need to get 5.0 bellhousing or relocate starter bolts on 3.8. only things you need to buy new (and its highly recommend) are: throwout bearing, flywheel and clutch but you can get it from rockauto

PS. Greetings from first european godzilla powered Mustang

if you ever need help getting parts over there let me know. I am disabled because of a rare medical condition that leaves me stuck in the restroom more than I would like, but I have(just last week in fact) helped receive and then resend the parts to europe since lmr and other places will not ship there. The only thing is that if I am having a bad day/week it might take me a little while to get it out but this last time I sent the parts out 2 days after I confirmed I got them all.

In the meantime, we found someone in Germany, who has the pedals and the Manual ECU.
We found a new TKX trans, with bellhousing, cables, wires and all other stuff in Modern Drive lines (or a little bit other Name) with shipping to Germany.
We would prefer the TKX, because if we are crazy enough, and Put a Coyote engine into Mufti, the TKX trans can still stay in him (as far as i read).

You can search for "Mustang Event Pullman City" then you will find it
It is every year, on the last June Weekend. So next year from 25th Till 27th June. The Western City has also a Camping area for 10€ a day. The Hotels and Holiday Apartments are sold Out very fast. And the Western City has some internal hotels too.
The Cars can remain in the Event area over night. Security guards are looking for them.

There is also a WhatsApp group/Chat for the Event. But the Main language there is German. But If you have questions etc, you can also write in english there, and you will get answers ☺️

That's nice to know. I am actually a little bit "disabled" too. My intervertebral disc ist dislocated

If a day, two days or a week more doesn't matter.
The LMR and co problem ist sometimes a huge mess. A company im Germany offers some parts, that we found in LMR, but when the part on LMR cost 200$, they want sometimes three or four Times of the money.
