P.I. swap #s?

hey guys i was wondering what kind of #s & times you guys are makin w/ the swap with just bolt ons? full or partial swap. if you guys dont mind tell me what bolt ons you have im getting ready to start picking things up for my swap

cant tell you my #s but i can tell you this

ls1s, n/a 4vs, 3vs, 96/98 cobras srt8 charger/challengers.. and so on have to think twice about playing with me..

go pi and dont even think about it.

how bout gas mileage, any better? i dont really care if its worse

i can get about 280 out of the tank, if i stay out of it, but my gears also help with city mileage.. highway is terrible..

Two years ago I dynoed at 220 RWHP with just the PI H/C/I swap. Stock intake tube and filter, stock exhaust....no other mods. It was also through a 100k mile automatic transmission. I just got my built transmission installed and a trick flow TB and Elbow. Hoping to gain more when I dyno it in a couple of weeks.

Mine was 285rwhp with Comp 262ah cams and only run was 12.8's... Would not let me go again because i have a vert and no roll bar. That was all the normal bolt ons etc through a 4R70W and 3200 PI converter.

thats pretty damn good for a auto vert!

i have a 98 did the full pi swap with hitech stage 2 cams and put down 298 rwhp/ 315 torque. i have mac catback catted x. stock manifolds and intake.

thats pretty damn good for a auto vert!

I think i could have done better with a few more runs.

I'm thinking of adding a 4 point bar next spring so i can run it more often.

I only made 219rwhp and 264rwtq with a K&N CAI, and PI intake, PI cams, Borla mufflers, and I have have the stock mid pipe. I only got to make one run though since I blew out 3rd and 4th gear when I tried to make another. So with PI heads and a tune I would imagine 250'ish rwhp for me. Maybe it would do better if I added an o/r x pipe and some under drive pulleys.

It is what it is...

I figure it has something to do with the transmission. It was in pretty bad shape when I pulled it. Most of the Auto H/C/I cars that I've seen dynoed pull between 230-240 rwhp.

Hey willis, didnt I read somewhere you are still running the factory tune with the swap aswell? I cant wait to get some used PI heads to finish my swap.

220rwhp is in the ballpark of what a stock 99-04 auto puts down so if you were having tranny issues it could be the difference.
