P2004 runner stuck open

any quick fixes for this other than taking the intake off? thanx.

I suppose you could try to push the arms to make sure both sets are open and then tune them out.

kind of what I was thinking...wire them open and then do a tune.

I know on the V6 trucks with IMRC you can reach the module to force them open. I don't know about it on Cobras

Lol! Piece of cake then. get the arms to open up and stay open and tune it out.

Or, you can get the lower off in just a few minutes, and pop a 99 lower in it's place so there's no IMRC

thanx!!! I cleared the code and it hasn't come back........yet. may have to be on the lookout for a lower.

Yea, 99 and 2000 cars had no IMRCs. You can tell which is which by looking at the center consoles (01+ with the large cupholder) or if it has the darker headlights, assuming you are going to pick a bone yard. 99/00 cars also have different heater hoses (old school with clamps) as opposed to the weird clip in 01+ ones.
