When i bought my gt, it didn't have anything on the inside of the doors ( door panels, speakers, etc.. ) The only place i could find them is mustang parts specialties. so I just paid 225.00 bucks for both door panels, cup inserts, 460 tweeter block off plates, and the hardware to install em. Is that about the right price? I couldn't find the stuff anywhere else, so i didn't even pay attention to price when they said they had it. i just told em to send it and gave em my credit card number. lol. opinions? everything is said to be new or in like new condition. I ask if the price is about right or not cuz I don't know how much that stuff usually sells for.

I guess its not bad. If you couldnt find it anywhere else you didnt look at all. Corral, and ebay have this stuff plastered all over it.

There are like 4 cars being parted out here right now....hell if I would pay that much money for door panels! Where the hell did they go to anyways?!

Off topic: is that a 4" cobra r style hood? Can you post more pics of it? Debating getting one, but undecided if it's "too much show, not enough go".

I really can't say where the original door panels disappeared to. the guy I got the car from said the car didn't have any when he got it and he had it for almost a year. I did look on here in the classifieds section, and saw a few cars being parted, but some of the threads were a lil old so I didn't wanna bother anyone with a f/s add that he prolly didn't even have the car anymore. its all good though.

off topic: and yeah that is a 4" cobra r hood, I recently gave it away in favor of a stock hood. I really didn't care for it. but I have better pictures on my photobucket if you want to see how it looks. look for my user name (MNTLKASE83) on there and it should pull up the pictures.

Damn man, oh well live and learn! I'm a cheapie when it comes to little things like that though haha!

Thanks for the pics, I'll be looking at them good and hard. My cobra hood is damaged and I'm not sure if I want to jump on this 4" cobra r hood. I hate to have that "ricer" kinda look where I make my car look like it faster then it is, don't want it's mouth writing checks it's ass can't cash LOL!

hahaha I hear ya, thats why I opted for a stock hood, well that and I like the way the stock hood looks. I don't need the hood clearance. I'm mostly stock except for a couple bolt ons. maybe once I get a vortech ysi on it or something i may need the space, but till then stock hood works for me.

MPS is usually high on the price spectrum but if you need them and you have the money then no biggie.
I would have checked the classifieds/ebay first and local junkyards since V6 etc all have the same interior but you didn't pay all that much more then I have seen online.

That's what I am afraid of. I am getting a 3" Cobra R hood because i hit a deer and eventually I will need the Clearance with my plans over the next few years. But till then, its going to bother me so much looking like it has more then it does. Oh well, gotta do what you gotta do.

I'm kinda in a pickle though..

I'm moving to NY REAL soon....almost 650 miles! I don't want the cracked fiberglass to break on the way up and smash my windshield! I can probably pick it up for $150 and it's in GREAT shape. I guess if I hate it I can resell it and go back stock or something else once I get there.

If u decide to get that cobra r hood, invest15-20 bucks in a set of hood pins. For a hood that is that light, pins could be the difference whether your hood flies up or not.
