Just wondering if this price seems in the ball park or not because I have no idea lol
As most of you know I've got a buncha shit needing paint which are as follows:
Bumper-repair/paint/fill in plate holes
Hood-both sides, blocking w/e else etc etc/paint
2x side skirts
2x mirrors
Wing

The first shop I went to quoted me at 800 for everything including the price of paint. This is with me pulling the parts off and dropping them off because they wanted 2 hours of labor for pulling the bumper off (really?)

Being new to getting things painted I have no idea if this is in the ballpark of what it should cost or not. I was definitely gonna go shop around for some more prices but do you guys think it seems about right?

i have a written estimate for $2,900 for painting my 98 silver convertible to dark shadow grey! door jams, under hood, under trunk lid...etc!! thats a little high i think so $800 is cheap for all they are painting on yours!! good deal i'd say!

Humph okay sweet :) they did my cobra bumper originally so I know they're pretty decent. That was 100 for labor so good to know :)

Thats actually very cheap. Just make sure they blend the tops of the fenders also. With all those parts and the locations they will be on the car, I would almost suggest a complete repaint as blending everything together could lead to problems. JFYI the average is about $250 per panel for just a spray.

Yes+1 if you can get it blended that would be great.

Bumping this back up. Does this sound about right for materials? How much do you think all of it would cost?
3 quarts of color
1 Gallon of Reducer
1 Gallon of Clear with activator
