Paint Job

I have an 01 GT and its Silver. It is starting to get some surface rust above the rear tire wells, and a few other spots.. nothing major.. was thinking about switching the color anyways.. how much should a decent paint job cost to go from silver to say a nice deep blue color along with fixing some minor body blemishes

to do a proper color change, youll be spending a few grand... just repsray it the same color, or one thats realy close.

I think a respray of the same color would be a few grand, full color change would be considerably more.

Maco will spary ya for a hundred bucks then again do you want a hundred dollar paint job. You should be asking yourself how much your willing to spend on a paint job, then look around to find someone who does good work and will do it for the price you have set aside. You can have someone spray ya a 30 footer or a show quality paint job the price difference is significant between the two.

I'd say about a grand. We just did a radiator support and front end, and a respray on 96 Gts for 600 labor. They paid for everything else

Who cares if your door jams are a shade off? Mine doesnt have pearl in the door jams, not a big deal.
