Has anyone tried to paint the two coil packs? Mine are spotless but the look of the insulating material is annoying and I would like to paint them the same metallic black I used on the rest of my underhood

Don't see any problems as long as I mask off the harness/plug areas but figured I would throw it out here first

Mine both match, just dont like the ugly appearance. I am going to pull off the brackets and paint those no matter what so I think I will try these and see how they come out. Spray some adhesion promotor, paint and clear on them.

Thanks guys, I found some bolt heads that need to be repainted and some small spots that need to be cleaned a little more but just didn't have anymore time today

Engine comp. looks good, you need a polished stainless upper radiator cover/shield to finish it off. AND THEN you need to sell me the black plastic one you have.
I had to plastic weld one of the headlight wings on mine and it really bugs me knowing it!!!!

Not happening, as you can see I don't have a lot of polished pieces, just painted ones. I like the painted look of mine better then the stainless ones and I think the $$ they charge for the metal can be better spent on other pieces. I would probably end up painting the stainless also which kind of defeats the purpose of buying it at all.

Plus I spent a whole $3 on the new decal for there as well. Would hate to have wasted that big money. :)

I really need to figure out something for the upper rad hose, it annoys me to see the hose and plain clamp on there.

Saw the red ones and didn't like the color of them. Did the stainless sleeving kit on my last GT and it never looked right either.

May end up just getting the silicon hose kit and some red clamp covers
