Heyy I think I'm gonna go ahead and paint the bottom of my rear bumper this weekend. Any suggestions on what I should do prep wise?? Thanks.

Or do it the right way and feel much better about itARdoller said:being where it is, you could get away without any prep work. i did both of my last two cars the lazy way, and just masked it off and painted it, and neither of those cars ever had a problem with the paint flaking or anything.
plus, with how cheap a can of flat black paint is, and the fact that for the most part, you dont even have to mask the bumper off to do a quick touch-up if need be, i wouldnt even worry about prep work. id just paint it, be on with your day, and in a couple years when you may get a flake or two, just respray it.
