you can put them so that they are not seen from the top(facing down in the grill), which is the only way I would consider them.

Yeah I was reading the SoddyRebel thread. I did a quick good search, and the people who recommend hood pins are the people that have serious hood wobble at highway speeds. The Kaenen hood latch plate is just like OEM design, compared to the other aftermarket hoods I've seen with different style latch plate. I still understand the importance of the pins though, but I've yet to see hood shake/wobble on my car. I've had it on for almost 2 months already. But I'm still thinking about it the pins.

I used to have hood pins when i first bought the car. But then somene decided to take them out and not put them back in when i was at taco bell. I get out and get on the overpass....WAM the fiberglass hood flys up and smashes my windshield. SCREW HOOD PINS

So because you failed to see 2 missing pin clips that are in plain view and your hood flew up you say screw hood pins. One day you yung bucs will see the light when someone with enough mustang experience to match your age tries to point you in the right direction.

Thank you father of mustangs lol. I mean that in a good way, non offense. But I'm going to watch my hood to see if it shakes at highway speeds. If it does, I'm getting hood pins. If it doesn't I think I'm safe. I literally pulled up the hood while it was latched to see if there was play, and that thing is solid. I actually was lifting up the front end of the car because it was latched securely.
