I've been thinking, how much money do you guys think I could get for my Mustang if I parted it out?

If I were to sell it as a complete car I would probably only get between 3-5 thousand right?

I'm just curious and this is totally theoretical.

Is there even an answer for this question? You would think parts would be worth more than just buying the whole thing. But maybe not. I'm just curious you know

Motor-$400
transmission-$350
rear end-$250
front spindles/brakes-$120
interior (whole)- $250 but i dont think peanut color sell very well
wheels/tires-$400
and shell to the junkyard will give you $150 (unless you able to find a buyer for the shell)

About $2500-3000 for everything. So your better off selling it whole, however why get rid of a car so clean like yours?

I'm 25 years old, married, and new home owner. Sometimes when I get that feeling like I'm broke i think about selling my car. However, i wish my dad would have held onto his chevelle so that i coukd have enjoyed it growing up so I hold onto my mustang for maybe my own kids someday. You know all that sappy crap. Lol

Oh come on man? If you sold it, what will you do with the money? What will you drive? If you have to, let it sit and drop insurance that way the extra flow of cash can go towards bills. NEVER SELL THE STANG!!....lol
